We have strong ecumenical links in the parish of St Joseph’s, interested in furthering the cause of unity between all Christians. This desire is also found in the wide experience of the various Churches in Epsom.
Churches Together in Epsom, (CTiE), which is the established forum for such a cause, seeks to include all the local Christian churches in promoting harmony and peace, friendship and cooperation between the different denominations. There are usually three meetings held annually, in January, May, and September. The AGM and ‘The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity’ are both held in January and the Good Friday Walk of Witness is an established public display of our efforts to be One.
This organisation is small (although has a large email membership base) and its avowed aim (see charter on notice board in the Narthex) is to promote practical steps of working together, in our united aim, of serving Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our prayer
That we may be One
O Eternal Father,
Pour out your Holy Spirit on all Christians,
Everywhere, throughout the world!
And grant us vision
of how your Church should be.
We pray, as our Lord prayed to you Father
That we may be one,
As you Father, are One with the Son.
In Your wisdom, we ask grace to pray,
For a new heart, and faith,
That the Spirit will lead us to Unity,
For the sake of Mission!
Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
